Portret młodego oficera z “Ordre de la Générosité” na czarnej wstążce.
Odnaleziony obraz to wielka rzadkość jako że przedstawia portret młodzieńca, zapewne jeszcze kilkunastoletniego, odznaczonego Orderem za Szlachetność – Ordre de la Générosité.
To niewątpliwie jeden z bardzo niewielu znanych przedstawień orderu z napisem “Pour le Générosité”, który ustanowiony został w 1667 przez dziewięcioletniego księcia Fryderyka Brandenburskiego. W 1740 po objęciu tronu Prus przez Fryderyka II zachowany ale zastąpiony napisem “Pour le Mérite”.

It is my pleasure to present this rediscovered painting, rarity, one of very few presenting the version of Order with the inscription “Pour le Générosité”.
Order of Generosity established in 1667, by the nine-year-old crown prince Frederick of Brandenburg. In 1740 inscription was replaced by “Pour le Mérite” just after Frideric II became the king of Prussia.
